Why we started

Freak Designs started because we're Edmonton Oilers hockey fans first and everything else second. We love our team. We live for game nights, playoff runs, and the kind of energy you only get in an arena packed with people who feel exactly the same way you do.

But when we looked around for fan gear that actually felt like us — bold, custom, and made with real pride — we kept coming up short. Generic store shirts. The same designs everyone else was wearing. Nothing that captured how deep the love for this game actually goes.

So we made our own. We picked up a heat press, learned the craft, and started creating fan-inspired apparel built for people who don't do things halfway. Every shirt and hoodie we make is a love letter to the game and the fans who make it worth watching.
